Measure A Bay Window

    Measure Angled Bay Windows For Roman Blinds - Guide.
  • You will need:
  • 2 pieces A4 Paper.
  • Pencil
  • Steel Tape Measure
  • Ruler

1.The headrail for our roman blinds protrudes by 43mm. If you have vents or window handles which protrude forwards of the window frame add the distance they protrude to the 43mm above. This measurement will be know as (A1).

2. Lay your two pieces of A4 paper end to end and mark distance A1 in from the edge. (A1 is 43mm plus size of vents or window handles)

3. Slide the two pieces of paper into the corner of you bay(which will be the intersection of you blinds) until the two marks meet up.

4. Place a faint mark on the window frame at the point where the edge of you paper meets the frame. Repeat this process at the into the other corners of your bay.

5.  Measure between the two marks, this will give you the size of your blinds. Order these blinds as recess size on the web site.
