What specification is my blind made to as standard?
All our roman blinds are fully lined as standard, they come complete with a robust aluminium headrail which self locks when you let go of the cord, fully sewn rod pockets with removeable rods, a removeable PVC bottom bar ( won't rust ) in a sewn bottom pocket, fixing brackets which will top or face fix, and a wooden acorn. Fully guaranteed for 2 years.
What lining options do I have?
Our roman blind come as standard with an Ivory poly cotton twill lining. The lining is designed to protect the face fabric from UV fading, and ensure your blind hangs perfectly. You can uprgrade to Blackout lining, Thermal Lining and even bump interlining. (please call us for details on interlining as not all fabrics are suitable for this treatment.) We also take a little care when making your blinds, for example if you order a white roman blind we will put white lining into it. little touches make all the difference.
What tools do I need to install my blinds?
A domestic drill and screw driver for top fixing, and just a screw driver for face fixing.
What headrail option's do I have?
Our roman blinds comes as standard on a self locking cord operated system which we have used for a number of years, the robust Aluminium headrail is easy to operate and easy to install. We also offer a full chain operated deluxe cassette system, this optional extra slightly improves the outward appearance of you roman blinds, and also is also slightly easier to operate especially in conservatories and bay windows.
Can i use these blinds in my Hotel,Bed and Breakfast or other public building?
Roman blinds for use in a public building must conform to BS5867, and be fully fire retardant. We do offer blinds to this specification, to order please call us. Prices for these service vary, but a rough guide of an extra 30 to 40% would usually be applied.
When will i get my order?
Our standard lead time varies according to the fabric you select. By and large we deliver your made to measure roman blinds within 10 workings days, in many cases quicker.
How do i measure my for my roman blinds?
Simply follow the guide below. If you have a conseratory our complex bay window, please feel free to e-mail us a number of good pictures of the area into which you widh to fit your blinds, we'll then mark onto the photograph exactly where to take the measurements from.

||Measure for roman blinds to fit inside the recess.
Always use a steel tape, and measure the width and drop of your blind at three different points in the window recess. Not all window openings are dead square, so use the smallest measurement to ensure your blinds will fit. Enter your finished sizes into the site an select "Recess Size", we will then manufacture your blinds to fit perfectly into your window recess. We will deduct 10mm from the width and 6 mm from the drop.
||Measure to the points outside the recess where you want your blind to come to. Select the "exact size" option when ordering and we will make your blind to that exact size.

Is my payment secure online?
We don't store your credit or debit card information at all. We process all customer payments through Sage Pay or Pay Pal. We only store your order details, and your name and adress. Our company name is Arcadia Textiles Ltd. We also conform to our banks (HSBC) volantary code of practice for online retailers, have quarterly security audits. Please use either the online payments facility through the web site or call us and we will process your order over the phone, we will never e-mail you to ask for payment details.
Can i return my roman blinds?
We only accept returns for roman blinds which are faulty in some way or damaged during transit. All roman blinds are made to your specific requirements, so please be careful when ordering. Should you have any queries before ordering please call us. We conform at all times to the The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. We have a manufacturing toloerance on roman blinds of +3mm and -5mm.
If you think you have made a mistake with your measurements or choice of fabric, please contact us immediately, if your order has not been put into production we will do our best to change it for you.
